Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps New Release Previews  |  August - Day Three

Today we are sharing....MY BEST FRIENDS ARE WITCHES

A brand new stamp set from artist Annie of Moonlight Whispers.

It includes two main images and lots of coordinating sentiments.

Perfect for Halloween and Fall!   Available this Saturday!

For my project, I made a shadowbox diorama with a light inside!

I was inspired by this amazing project from The Gentleman Crafter.

I started with a coffee can and a few other pieces for the top, legs and so forth.

 

First, I painted the can with gesso and then all of the pieces with acrylic paint.

I cut an oval in the front and sanded the edges to make them smooth.

Then, I adhered some paper to the top piece I made from chipboard, coffee can and so on.

To prop the stamp up inside, I used an empty ribbon spool and covered it with paper.

 

Volia....a lighted diorama!

Here are some additional pics and a close up of the stamp colored with copics.

 

The top comes off so that the little light inside can be turned off and on.
